Sounds

The Sounds.

And a whole new day dawning in which to dream bravely and find my muchness.

There really isn’t anywhere better to dance.   Because, to be honest, finding how all you’ve discovered about who you are and what you believe you have been called to do will outwork is hard.  It’s where the rubber hits the road you’ve been travelling on.  It’s where the next step will be to step out.  You just need to know where.  It’s where you really need your bravery and muchness.

And The Sounds nourish you with their peace and tranquility, asking nothing from you in return.

When I first began teaching, we used the words “opportunities” and “possibilities” to frame our days.  I liked the idea that the future was less fixed, more open, to whatever catches at our eyes and nudges at our gifts.  I liked the idea of teaching this to our children. Opportunities and possibilities are there to taste, to explore, to see if they are good.  They take the weight away and invite your steps to find a rhythm of ins and outs and embrace that you could indeed see your days as a dance.

Why not have my eyes peeled and my heart open to the opportunities and possibilities that invite me to look beyond my abiding, beyond the moment of soubhiyé, and into the new day, whispering, “Behold…”?

And so I have danced.

I have connected with a colleague from Your Life Live It and we have been mindmapping something that matters to us, that we could do together here in Marlborough…

I have applied for something fixed at Playcentre Aotearoa that has evolved into something flexible that fits me far better than the fixed ever did...

I have attended Growth Track at Elim, learning more about myself, my new family ,and new paths opening that excite me…

And I have attended the Marlborough Book Festival, where I listened to Dr Bex Bell speak about our inner critic and how to acknowledge her without being ruled by her…

A new friend.

A new friend to dance with, who achieved her goal of leaving someone better off than when she found them—me.

I am dreaming bravely, finding my muchness, and tasting the opportunities and possibilities that I see.  I know that at the right time, when I have learned what I need to learn and experienced what I need to experience, my next step will become clear.

And when I know how I will be a pathfinder; when I know how I will use my gifts for clarity and pathfinding to help others to find their way to who they are and where they want to go; I will know that I will do it well, because I will have found and followed my own path first.

It is very hard to give something that you don’t have.  I will not have that hard.

Behold.

Co-creating with the universe.

Co-creating with God.

“As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.”

Marianne Williamson
