As a parent, you are your child’s first and best educator; most trusted, most influential, most loved.
Read on and discover two organisations whose passion is to help and support you…
Space For You & Your Baby
Space is something unique to New Zealand. Coming under the umbrella of Parenting Place, local community groups all over the country run Space sessions.
It’s a space where first time parents can come through the first year of being a parent and find relationships that last a lifetime. It’s a space to feel safe. It’s a space to feel loved. It’s a space to learn. It’s a space to teach. It’s a space to share. It’s a space to laugh. It’s a space to cry. It’s a space to dream. It’s a space to explore. It’s a space to make choices. It’s a space to breath. It’s a space to weave. It’s the space to find the freedom of being you.
I am passionate about Space and the difference it makes.
In Queenstown, where I facilitate, Space is hosted by the Salvation Army.
Te Whānau Tupu Ngātahi
Playcentre Aotearoa
Playcentre is another organisation unique to New Zealand. Playcentres are not-for-profit Early Childhood Education centres that are organised and run by parents, for parents and children who wish to explore and do life and education together. You will find them everywhere if you look!
It’s a place for fun. It’s a place for friendship. It’s a place to be yourself. It’s a place to connect. It’s a place to play. It’s a place to contribute. It’s a place to belong. It’s a place to learn. It’s a place to grow. It’s a place to share. It’s a place for connection. It’s a place to make your own choices. It’s a place to be empowered. It’s a place that is unforgettable.
I am also passionate about the difference Playcentre makes.
And I am passionate about my nation-wide role as Education and Professional Learning & Development Facilitator.
